Grow your own! Sunday 4th July 2010
If you are interested in growing your own fruit and vegetables please attend a "Grown Your Own" demonstration and picnic at a large plot converted from waste ground in the centre of Dulwich Village - entry point at 5 Roseway, Dulwich Village, SE21 7JT.
Guided Tours & 2:30 and 4pm. Children & dogs welcome! You can bring your own picnic, there is plenty of space for a picnic.The following items are grown throughout the year and many may be seen growing now:
Vegetables
Artichoke, asparagus, beans (runner, broad and French), brassica (cabbage broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts), beetroot, carrot, celery, celeriac, chard, courgette, cucumber, lettuce, leek, onion, parsnip, potato, peas, peppers, rhubarb, spinach, squash, sweet corn, swede, tomato, turnip.
Fruit
Apple, pear, cherry, greengage, damson, strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, gooseberry, currants, figs, vine.

The Women In Business Network is operating in Dulwich and they are looking for business women in the local area to join. They are not a referral organisation but provide an opportunity for professional business women who are serious about improving their business opportunities. The meetings are successful and good business is passed due to the support and encouragement from the members and visitors alike.
